Seyi Vibez Accuses Dapper of Using Artistes’ Catalogue Money to Fund Others

Nigerian singer Balogun Olamilekan Oluwaseyi, popularly known as Seyi Vibez, has made fresh allegations against music executive Dapper Music amid the ongoing controversy involving the executive and artistes associated with his platform.

In a series of posts on X, Seyi Vibez claimed that he played a significant role in building Dapper Music’s career and alleged that money from artistes’ music catalogues was used to finance the signing of other artistes. He also made controversial claims involving celebrity chef Hilda Baci, alleging that proceeds from artistes’ catalogues were being spent on her Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL).

Seyi Vibez further recalled an encounter involving food he said was given to him by Dapper Music, claiming that he became seriously ill after eating it. He also alleged that his money was used to sign artistes under Dapper Music, insisting that he was instrumental to the growth of the executive’s business. “I made Dapper,” the singer claimed, while describing himself as bigger than the music executive and his entire generation.

The singer also accused Dapper Music of taking advantage of artistes associated with him and expressed concern for those who remain connected to the executive. However, the allegations made by Seyi Vibez are claims by the singer and have not been independently verified. Dapper Music and the other individuals mentioned would need to respond to the allegations for their positions to be established.
