WOMAN FOUND DEAD AT LOVER'S APARTMENT IN IBADAN

The Oyo State Police Command has confirmed the killing of a 26-year-old woman, identified as Precious Mogaji, in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State.
The command’s spokesperson, Olayinka Ayanlade, disclosed in a statement on Monday that an investigation has begun to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
According to the police, the case was reported by a good Samaritan who found the victim lying lifeless at the entrance of her boyfriend’s room. The boyfriend, Quadri Mohammed, aged 29, is currently at large.
The police clarified that the incident occurred in the Oguntula area of Ojoo in Ibadan and not in Akobo as earlier reported by some media outlets.
The command said the victim’s body has been deposited in a morgue for autopsy while efforts are ongoing to apprehend the suspect. It also urged members of the public with useful information to contact the nearest police station and disregard misleading reports circulating on social media.
