OsunDecides2026: APC’s Oyebamiji Wins Own Irewole LG by Wide Margin
The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Bola Oyebamiji, has recorded a commanding victory in Irewole Local Government Area of Osun State, his home council, in the ongoing 2026 governorship election.
According to results announced at the local government collation centre, Oyebamiji secured a wide margin over his closest challengers, strengthening the APC’s position in the council and delivering a significant boost to his campaign as the collation of results continues across the state.
The result is particularly notable because Irewole is Oyebamiji’s home local government, making the outcome an important test of his support base in the area.
